Interior Foliage Design installs pavers and decks—stone, wood, and Trex composite—with custom layouts for rooftops, terraces, patios, and yards across New York City and the Tri-State area. From our Long Island City greenhouse (since 1980), we treat outdoor flooring as both durable surface and design feature, often paired with planting. Call 718-784-4527 or email info@interiorfoliage.com.
Homeowners, townhouse owners, co-ops and condos, and commercial clients hire us when the floor under the garden matters as much as the plants.
Typical goals we hear:
Explore related outdoor work: terrace & patio gardens · rooftop garden design · brownstone & townhouse landscaping · exterior design.
Grounded in our published pavers / deck and exterior pages:
Hardscape is often paired with planting, fencing, or water features as part of a broader terrace, townhouse, or rooftop project—not sold as a disconnected materials-only drop unless that is what you need.
We do not invent structural load ratings, waterproofing specs, or DOB permitting steps on this page. (Hypothesis: Matthew to confirm how rooftop weight, drainage, and building approvals are handled—Interior Foliage vs. client engineer / GC.)
Send photos and your address if you are unsure which scope fits.
Primary outdoor territory includes New York City and the Tri-State: Nassau County, Suffolk County (Hamptons and North Fork), New Jersey, and Connecticut. Boston and Philadelphia are also listed in our exterior service area. Our Long Island City greenhouse base supports staging into Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, and beyond.
Interior Foliage does not publish a fixed price menu on this site—cost depends on material, square footage, access, custom layout complexity, and whether planting or other hardscape is included. We focus on transparent budgets after a clear site conversation.
For a useful first conversation, include:
Do you install stone, wood, and Trex? Yes. Our pavers and deck pages describe stone, wood, and Trex composite options with custom layouts.
Can you install flooring on a rooftop? Yes. We install pavers and decking as functional rooftop and garden flooring and as design features. Structural and waterproofing constraints are project-specific—we will discuss what your building requires when you inquire. (Hypothesis: confirm engineering / board coordination with Matthew—do not claim DOB filing.)
Do you only pour or lay hardscape, or design the whole outdoor room? We are a landscape design-build firm. Many clients combine pavers or decks with terrace, backyard, or rooftop planting in one scope.
Will you maintain plantings around the new flooring? We offer landscape maintenance for NYC outdoor spaces we create. Ask to include care when you request your install quote.
Which areas do you serve? NYC and the Tri-State area including Nassau, Suffolk (Hamptons & North Fork), New Jersey, and Connecticut. Ask about Boston and Philadelphia.
How do we start? Call 718-784-4527 or email info@interiorfoliage.com with photos, address, and goals. We will discuss budget transparency and next steps.
Is this related to event flooring or rental décor? No. Event plant rentals are short-term (see events rentals). This page is permanent outdoor flooring and hardscape as part of landscaping.
