What we rent for activations and pop-ups

Activation jobs pull from the same Woodside greenhouse inventory we stage for other events. Browse the catalog and 2026 Rental Deck on events & plant rentals.

  • Faux trees, ferns, and flowering mounds for public installs that have to last the run — foot traffic, long hours, no watering window
  • Real flowering plants in barnwood planters, antique wheelbarrows, and mixed containers for short trade-show and bar-convention pop-ups
  • Street-level moss, allium, and grass installs in front of a truck or along a cobblestone curb
  • Boxwood hedge walls for photo moments, perimeter, and hiding production gear
  • Living walls when the brief needs a botanical backdrop
  • Planters and site accents when the activation needs a finished edge

How a rental is quoted, insured, delivered, placed, and struck is on how plant rental works.

Delivery, placement, and union houses

We deliver and place. Public halls, station concourses, street closures, and convention floors each have their own dock, freight, union, and certificate-of-insurance rules. Put those notes in the quote so the truck is scheduled against a real house. We work with union and non-union staff so installation is seamless. Exact inventory rotates seasonally; we confirm what is available for your load-in date.

These photos are brand activations and public pop-ups from our Woodside greenhouse — not stock. The station-hall set is all faux so it lasts the run of a public install. The Brooklyn trade-show set is real flowering plants in barnwood planters and a wheelbarrow. Click a photo to enlarge.

How brand-activation plant rental pricing works

Short-term plant, tree, and hedge rentals use a flat rate up to three days — the same public term as on events & plant rentals. Longer public holds are quoted case by case. Delivery and labor depend on venue, volume, union rules, and timing. We do not publish an activation-package price on this page.

FAQ — Plant rentals for brand activations and public pop-ups

Do you rent plants for brand activations and public pop-ups?
Yes. We rent faux and real plants for station halls, street installs, trade-show booths, and bar-convention pop-ups. We deliver and place, then pick up.

Are the plants real or faux?
We do both. For a public install that has to last the run — foot traffic, long hours, no watering window — we specify faux plants so the look holds. Short trade-show and bar-convention pop-ups can be real flowering plants in barnwood planters and wheelbarrows. Say which you need in the quote.

Do you only drop plants, or do you place them?
We deliver and place as needed. Share a floor plan or reference photos so the crew can set mounds, planters, and trees in the load-in window.

Do you work in union houses?
Yes. We work with union and non-union staff so installation is seamless. Put the house rules and any steward contact in the quote note.

Where do you deliver brand-activation plant rentals?
New York City, Boston, Philadelphia, and the Hamptons. Crews travel from 47-47 58th Street, Woodside, NY 11377. Delivery and labor vary by distance and venue access.

How long is a short-term rental?
A flat rate up to three days. Longer public holds are priced case by case.

How should we start an activation quote?
Email info@interiorfoliage.com or call 718-784-4527 with event date, venue, city, plant list, real or faux, and load-in / load-out. COI wording, if the venue needs it, should ride with that note.

How long have you been in business?
Since 1980.
