A living wall is a dense, wall-scale plant installation on a self-supported frame — used as a backdrop, branded photo moment, entrance feature, or room divider. For events, renting is usually smarter than buying: you get the weekend without permanent irrigation or disposal.
Many productions use both: hedges for structure, a living wall for the hero shot.
Interior Foliage Design is a family NYC greenhouse (since 1980) at 47-47 58th Street, Woodside. We serve Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, the Hamptons, and the wider Northeast when the brief needs a living wall on a truck. Share floor plans, wall dimensions, and load-in notes early — hotels and multi-level venues take more labor.
Curved ribbon planters and other permanent-look architectural walls are quoted as installations, not the rental sizes above. Ask if that is the look you want.

How much does a living wall rental cost?
Published 2026 sizes: 4'×8' $2,500, 8'×8' $5,000, 8'×10' $7,500 for 1–3 days, excludes tax and labor.
Are living walls real plants?
Yes. Live plants on a self-supported frame. Mix depends on the look, the venue, and the hold time.
Can a living wall go outdoors?
Sometimes — season, sun, wind, and overnight conditions decide. We will recommend a living wall, olive trees, or boxwood hedges.
Does the price include delivery and setup?
No. Labor depends on the venue and the load-in / load-out window. We put that on the quote.
Do you rent outside New York City?
Yes. Hamptons and Montauk regularly. Boston, Philadelphia, D.C., Rhode Island, and the Northeast when we truck the wall.
